Siemens Ardwick Traincare Depot - Open Day 2014
Siemens opened the doors of their Manchester Ardwick Traincare facility to the public in aid of the NAS (National Autism Society) in the form of an Open Day on Saturday October 25th. Our Middle son Joseph is diagnosed with ASD (Autistic Spectrum Disorder (specifically Asperger's Syndrome)) so we booked on the (tickect only) tour. I would like to praise both the staff of the Siemens depot and the people onsite from the NAS for making the day so enjoyable. Even my "trainophobic" wife enjoyed herself :-)!! Nothing was too much trouble for the onsite staff and Joseph Really enjoyed himself - Thanks Siemens/NAS :-)
PS Sorry about the excessive steam whistles when it was Josephs turn :-)
