  • Working hard and sounding awesome 37706 growls past Arla Dairies at Stourton, South East Leeds with a 1Z22 10:15 York to Scarborough, the first circuit of the days SSE on August 9th 2011.. The tractor was deputising for a failed Kettle 44932 which had failed on the NRM during prep in the morning. The Kettle was patched together and added inside the train at York where the EE type three then piloted the train to the coast. The kettle completed the rest of the circuit with 706 on the rear as insurance.
  • 44932 crosses the calder at Wakefield at the head of the 1Z24 16:55 Scarborough to York SSE on 9th August 2011
  • 37706 brings up the rear of the 2nd circuit of the SSE with a 1Z24 16:55 Scarborough to York, crossing the river calder at Wakfefiel on 9th August 2011.
  • In abysmal weather conditions 70013 "Oliver Cromwell" storm past Healey Mills with a 1Z69 16:55 Scarborough to Crewe return "Scarborough Flyer" on August 11th 20011

  • The one that go away! Tahnks to mindless morons stealing signal Cables at Milford Junction and yobs bricking the train at Castleford the return trip was 35 late by the time it reached Wakefield. Had the train been on time the bridge was bathed in setting golden sun with a mirror like reflection DOH!! <br /> <br /> 47790 is seen here in rapidly fading light crossing the River Calder with a 1Z17 18:52 York to Chester return Northern Belle "Nag-ex" on 17th August 2011

In the words of a fellow local tog "You should have stayed at home mate!" - very true Derek, not only did the sun not want to play but trees have now also obscured the Aquaduct from view too....:-(<br /> <br /> PS before I get cries of "Tresspass" messages this is a 100% legal shot from behind the fence!
